Who Goes There - Why Its MeeGo

The team behind the Android UI have let us have a look at what they are testing on the MeeGo OS by Nokia and Intel, looks very impressive...

could someone clarify what exactly this is?
a custom ui for meego which we will never see on our phones (I'm particularly talking about my N900)...

I believe that it is a tech demo of what is possible in terms of animations and transitions on MeeGo.

I like the fact that the team who do the Android UI are looking at MeeGo.
